Quality Control for Custom Wire Harnesses

DockDura checks every custom wire harness project through material review, production inspection, electrical testing, and final verification based on customer drawings and requirements.

Quality Control ProcessDockDura Workshop Quality Control

1. Drawing and BOM Review

Before quotation and production, we review wire length, wire gauge, connector model, terminal type, pinout, sleeve material, label requirements, quantity, and testing needs.

2. Incoming Material Inspection

Wires, connectors, terminals, sleeves, heat shrink tubing, labels, and related components are checked before production to help ensure they match the confirmed project requirements.

3. In-Process Inspection

Key production steps such as wire cutting, stripping, terminal crimping, soldering, connector assembly, sleeving, bundling, and labeling are inspected during manufacturing.

4. Electrical Testing

Continuity, polarity, and pinout testing can be performed according to project requirements. This helps confirm that each harness is connected correctly before shipment.

5. Final Inspection and Packing

-Finished wire harnesses are checked for appearance, connector orientation, labeling, cable length, packaging, and customer-specific requirements before shipment.

Materials & Components Review

Custom wire harness quality depends on both workmanship and component selection. DockDura reviews materials and components based on customer drawings, BOMs, samples, or confirmed specifications.
